Immersed in the history of a period building

The palace was once the residence of the Bonsecolo family, an ancient and noble lineage originally from Nardò, whose most illustrious ancestor was Teodoro, Bishop of Lecce, who passed away in 1108. It later became property of the Episcopal Curia, which designated it as the seat of the Bishop’s household.

Today, this historic residence has been restored to its former splendour and, after a skilful and meticulous renovation, now houses Le Club Boutique Hotel. With its 17 rooms, it blends seamlessly into the magnificent setting of Lecce’s historic centre, just steps from the city’s most iconic landmarks, often referred to as the “Florence of the South.”


You can admire the stunning Piazza del Duomo, located just 100 metres from the hotel, while the city’s Greek and Roman archaeological area is only a few steps away. The neighbourhood is also rich in restaurants and lively nightlife venues, all easily reachable on foot.
